About Me

This is me!! Hi,
Welcome to my little space where I hand weave my own textiles using heritage techniques and traditional methods with a strong emphasise on using manual floor looms with human power, no computerised electric looms here! This allows for a lot of interaction with the loom and the woven cloth itself.
All my weaving is crafted using 4 and 8 shaft looms and I like to focus on simple designs using natural earthen colours with the intention of them becoming a gentle addition to our busy life styles. Its essential that they are none fussy and comfortable, with the priority being beautiful tactile items that are usable, hardwearing and long lasting so they can be handed on as heirlooms.
The wool and organic cotton yarns I use are some of the finest available within the industry and Im very proud to use British and Irish mills for all of my yarns as I have a strong belief in using local suppliers and especially British where possible.
Outside of weaving I love flowers and gardening including growing food.
The countryside is very important to me and my partner, and we both enjoying walking (in which our furry feline companion likes to accompany us) We have interests in cottage gardens, wild flowers, trees and birds (especially Red Kits).
