For 2026 Im planning on venturing into holding weaving workshops in my studio for complete beginners. I will be planning on offering rigid heddle weaving and weaving on a 4 shaft table loom.

Some frequently asked questions....
What will the class consist of?
For the very beginner it will be all about getting to know the concept of weaving, basic weaving structure and weaving with a stick shuttle. All looms, fibre and workshop handouts will be provided
Will it be a day course or just a couple of hours?
I will be holding both, a “have a go” which will be a morning or afternoon session and i will be holding full day courses from 10am through to 4pm which will include Coffee and Tea on tap and of course some well earnt biscuits!
Do I have to be a beginner or can I be returning and or already a weaver?
Yes, you are more than welcome to join the course even if you already weave. If you prefer to bring you own loom you are also welcome but please let me know before hand so that i can make room available for your loom
Can I bring my own handspun yarn?
Yes, any yarn that you have in your stash can come along and be used, after all your weaving will be removed from the loom at the end of the day for you to take home
